Maine Consumer Protection Act
The Maine Consumer Protection Act provides a 4-year implied warranty on appliance defects. Your appliance may still be covered under this protection.
Before paying for a repair, you should try contacting the manufacturer directly and requesting that they send a technician to address the defect at no cost to you.
Include any error codes on the display, as well as any indicator lights that are solid or blinking — note which light and whether it's solid or blinking.
For washers, dryers, laundry centers, and dishwashers a photo showing the unit's location and access is especially helpful.
